How do I get to Stellenbosch from the airport? South Africa does not have a very good public transport system yet and you will need to hire a car or book an airport pick-up in advance. You can find our offices here. We are sharing office space with a jewelry shop called SOFIAS, at number 21 Ryneveld Street.
From the N1
- Take R304 off ramp to Stellenbosch.At T-junction, turn right. Follow road into Stellenbosch. Continue along Bird Street until traffic circle with the Post Office on your left hand side.
- Take a left into Plein street at the circle.
- Continue up Plein street, crossing over Andringa Street and passing the Town Hall, Library and ABSA Bank on your left hand side and continue.
Turn right into Ryneveld Street at the traffic circle. You will see an art gallery on the corner of Plein and Ryneveld streets. SOFIAS is about 2 shops on from the art gallery.
From the Airport and N2
- Take R310/ Baden Powell off ramp. At T-junction, turn left towards Stellenbosch. Follow road, pass Spier Estate At next t-junction, turn right At second set of traffic lights, turn right into Dorp street.Continue up Dorp Street and turn left into Mill Street.
- Continue along Mill Street, and go around the traffic circle (3 o'clock) into Plein Street.
- Continue up Plein street, crossing over Andringa Street and passing the Town Hall, Library and ABSA Bank on your left hand side and continue.
Turn right into Ryneveld Street at the traffic circle. You will see an art gallery on the corner of Plein and Ryneveld streets. SOFIAS is about 2 shops on from the art gallery.
From Somerset West/ Strand
- Take R44 towards Stellenbosch At traffic light intersection with Dorp Street, turn right. Continue up Dorp Street and turn left into Mill Street Continue along Mill Street, and go around the traffic circle (3 o'clock) into Plein Street.Continue up Plein street, crossing over Andringa Street and passing the Town Hall, Library and ABSA Bank on your left hand side and continue.Turn right into Ryneveld Street at the traffic circle. You will see an art gallery on the corner of Plein and Ryneveld streets. SOFIAS is about 2 shops on from the art gallery.
From Paarl (1)
- Take R45 towards Franschhoek Turn right into R310 over Helshoogte Pass towards Stellenbosch. At bottom of pass, turn left into Cluver Street Continue across circle. Cluver becomes Marais Street At t-junction, turn right into Van Riebeeck Street Van Riebeeck becomes Plein Street further downLook out for the Cape Town Fish Market (CTFM) on the left hand side, just before the traffic circle.At the traffic circle, turn left into Rynevled street. You will see an art gallery on the corner of Plein and Ryneveld streets. SOFIAS is about 2 shops on from the art gallery.
From Paarl (2)
- Take R44 towards Stellenbosch At traffic light intersection with Bird Street, turn left. (Eikestad Motors diagonally across on left hand side) Continue along Bird Street until traffic circle with the Post Office on your left hand side. Take a left into Plein street at the circle. Continue up Plein street, crossing over Andringa Street and passing the Town Hall, Library and ABSA Bank on your left hand side and continue.Turn right into Ryneveld Street at the traffic circle. You will see an art gallery on the corner of Plein and Ryneveld streets. SOFIAS is about 2 shops on from the art gallery.
From Franschhoek
- Take R45 towards Paarl. Turn left onto R310 / Helshoogte pass At bottom of pass, turn left into Cluver Street Continue across circle. Please remember to call as soon as you get to the airport. This is especially important if you are likely to arrive before 09:00 as otherwise there may be no one to meet you at our offices. Taxis and Shuttle-Buses
We recommend that you make airport transfer arrangements in advance and not to take a taxi from the airport as you might get ripped off.

Parking
You can park anywhere in Plein street on an allocated parking bay. Attendants with luminous yellow vests will probably ask you how long you want to park. You will not need more than 15 min, just to collect your keys and get directions to your apartment block. You might have to pay a minimum of 30 min, which will cost you about R1.30 Cash only accepted.
You could also park in the parking area behind the Decameron restaurant. This normally cost R7.00 per entry and you may park there the whole day. Entrance to this parking area is in Plein street at the T-junction with Dorstdy Street.
